El paranaense Román Godoy recibió el Olimpia de Plata 2023 en softbol, este martes en la edición número 70 de la entrega de los premios para el deporte argentino que organizó el Círculo de Periodistas Deportivos (CPD) y tuvo su desarrollo en la Usina del Arte en la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires.
El deportista local compartió terna con otros dos paranaenses: Aldana Gómez y Teo Migliavacca. "Es una alegría muy grande estar ternado y haberlo ganado. Soy la cara visible, pero el softbol es lo que logró todo esto. Es un reconocimiento y una caricia al corazón", expresó Godoy, quien en 2014 también ganó el premio.

Por su parte, el paranaense Mariano Werner se alzó con el Olimpia de Plata en automovilismo. El corredor de la provincia tuvo un gran 2023, en el que se consagró en el Turismo Carretera y en el TC Pick Up.
"Es la frutilla del postre para un año excelente, en lo deportivo y personal. Esto es un premio que uno como deportista siempre sueña. Es un placer estar acá con tantos deportistas, coronando un 2023 increíble", manifestó el tricampeón de TC.

Además del piloto entrerriano, Carmelo Retamar Brassesco, oriundo de Paraná y con 16 años, obtuvo el galardón plateado en bochas tras su coronación en el mundial sub 18, en la categoría tiro con precisión.
"Es muy conmovedor en este cierre de año, así que contento por el premio y a seguir para adelante", comentó el joven paranaense. "El deporte se desarrolló bastante en las últimas décadas y tiene muchas categorías y competencia. Argentina está entre los cinco mejores", agregó.
