El actor mexicano Sebastián Athié (24) falleció el sábado y llenó de dolor el mundo Disney. La noticia la dio a conocer la Asociación Nacional de Intérpretes de México (ANDI), a través de sus redes sociales. "Con profundo pesar, el Consejo Directivo y el Comité de Vigilancia, a nombre de la Asociación Nacional de Intérpretes, comunican el sensible fallecimiento del intérprete Sebastián Athié. A sus familiares y amigos les mandamos un abrazo solidario con nuestras más sentidas condolencias", escribió la Asociación.
El joven sólo tenía 24 años y había participado en las series Disney O11ce, Soy Luna y La Rosa de Guadalupe. Su última imagen en las redes sociales fue una foto en unas escaleras del Bosque de Chapultepec, Ciudad de México. "Ser libre no es una mera cuestión de quitarse las cadenas, sino de vivir respetando y aumentando la libertad de los demás" fue la frase de Nelson Mandela que compartió el joven. Días antes, había realizado otro posteo, con un mensaje similar: "Huir de la soledad es, en realidad, escapar de la libertad".
Por su parte, Disney Channel Latinoamérica realizó un homenaje a través de sus redes sociales, compartiendo una fotografía del actor. "Descansa en paz, Sebas. Tu arte y tu sonrisa se quedan para siempre. Con mucho dolor, lamentamos la partida de Sebastián Athié a quién recordaremos siempre por su gran talento, compañerismo, profesionalismo y ante todo, enorme corazón.
